2006 is here!

Well, 2006 is here, and it came around faster than I thought it would. There are a lot of things that I want to change about myself in this new year, and I hope that I can accomplish all of the goals I have for the first four months of this year. Last year, my resolution was to quit smoking, and I have quit smoking cigarettes. The goals that I have for this year are really huge life changes, which makes them a bit harder since it's difficult to undo certain habits.





We have two new additions to our home in this new year; Phoebe and Obi-Wan Kenobi (a puppy, not the Jedi, although he has the potential). Phoebe is Erwin's sister's dog, and we took her in because she moved to Hawaii for college and Phoebe is supposed to follow after she completes her vaccinations. Obi-Wan Kenobi is our new puppy. It's like we're running a doggy daycare, only these are all our dogs!

My wedding is in less than four months now and I'm getting nervous, but not about the commitment part of it. I'm more nervous about everything going smoothly for all of our guests because we're getting married in Las Vegas. I adore Erwin and know with all of my heart that he and I are meant to spend our lives together, and we're excited about the "being married" part of it. But yeah, a wedding with so many guests is totally nerve-wracking!
